Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
